The Appledore

A few days ago we were able to go out on John's dad's boat, the Appledore.  The Appledore is an 86-foot wooden Windjammer that offers cruises off the coast of Maine.  They offer something like four cruises a day.  It was a beautiful day to sail around and a nice relaxing way to spend the day of a concert!  Here are some pictures of the trip (and a trip up Mt. Battie afterwards):

we saw many a gorgeous yacht out on the water

At some point someone broke out the Snuggies

John knows how to rock a plaid Snuggie

Adriane looking stunning (as always)

Do the world a favour and don't take your three-year-old on a boat tour.  He had fun for the first three minutes and then ran around terrorising everyone and pushing any button he saw.

I am not sure of the back story on this, but you can climb up it and get an even better view.
