As of this weekend, Charlotte has officially lived in the UK longer than she has lived in the US. It is a funny coincidence that this weekend also marks the commemoration of the US declaring its independence from the UK! Happy Fourth of July, everyone!
We'll be celebrating tomorrow with some other expats in Clapham Common. Jason is going to make some of his famous fried chicken (
Thomas Keller's recipe!). No fireworks, but maybe we can find some
pop-its or
snakes somewhere . . .
