London Aquarium

Today Charlie and I met up with a new group of mum and baby friends at the London Aquarium!  Well, first we had lunch/coffee at the cafe in the Royal Festival Hall and then headed to the aquarium (it's a shame that I've now been there for lunch and have not yet seen a concert there!).  All six babies were around the same age and we wondered whether or not they would find the aquarium very interesting at all, but they did!  Here are some pics of Charlotte enjoying the sights:

There were lots of fun exhibits and it probably took us a good hour to get all the way through.

Here is a short video of the largest tank.  It was packed full of all sorts of sea creatures!  (Keep an eye out for the sea turtle in the upper left hand corner at the end of the video.)

We had a great time at the aquarium and, more importantly, had a great time with our new friends.

(Just to make things interesting, Charlie had a humongous blow-out poo on the bus ride home.  I had to get off at a random bus stop and change her in her pushchair.  That happens so rarely with cloth diapers since they tend to hold so much more, but this one was a doozy.  Those sea creatures really scared the %*&# out of her!)
