Dear Mom,
As I tended to my sick daughter into the wee small hours of this morning, I couldn't help but think that you must have done the same thing for me. In fact, you must have done it innumerable times between my birth and adulthood. It was such a comfort to me as I sang lullabyes to Charlotte and nursed her over and over again through out the night, to think that at one point, you did this for me. Thank you, mom.

ReplyDeleteBethie has been caring for two sick babies during the past week, and she has been a hero to both of us. I'm looking forward to Charlotte and I kicking these bugs so she can have a full night's sleep again!
Awwww, when you love someone so much, its easy - well, not easy, but you want to take care of them. Even as a teenager, you would crawl into bed on my side and cuddle when you were sick. I wish I could cuddle you, Jason and Charlotte and make you all better! Love you all, Ma
