The Sweetest Face

Charlie was looking so adorable the other day while she ate her lunch so I ran to grab the camera.  She rarely lets me get this close to her without grabbing the camera or touching the lens (which happened eventually . . . ) and I was able to get a few good shots of that sweet, sweet face.  

 

This picture below is my favourite.  I used a seventies looking filter on it (thanks, Instagram!) and it made me love it even more.  <3

PS:  Thanks (and happy birthday!) to Aunt Jenn for the handmade tunic.  It is absolutely darling on her!

I have a confession to make:  I have no idea how to use my camera.  It is a Canon Rebel T2i and has all sorts of fancy bells and whistles and I have no idea how to do anything more than point, focus and shoot.  

                                               

Of course I could just read the manual, but that sounds incredibly boring.  Wouldn't it be more fun to read a pretty book?  I've been drooling over this book about photographing kids.  I'm assuming there are some pointers on how to actually use the camera in there as well.
