We have another installment of the Milton's Manor Marmite Project!  Behold, an unwitting American eats Marmite for the first time:

My friend Mike and his lovely new bride, Lillian, came to visit us from Maryland.  (It was actually a few months ago now, but it has taken me a while to finally upload and post this video!)  We were only able to add Lillian to the Marmite Project because Mike is Canadian and was exposed to Marmite as a kid.  Dang.

We have another installment of the Milton's Manor Marmite Project!  Behold, an unwitting American eats Marmite for the first time:

What I didn't catch was him saying, "I'd rather have jelly" just after I turned the camera off.  Dang.  Still, a big thank you to Andrew for participating!  We will have another video to share shortly (lots of visitors lately!).

(PS:  I'm not sure why all my videos seem to be a bit off from their audio.  I'm working on fixing it!)

Marmite

Marmite is a staple condiment in many UK households.  It is a by-product of beer brewing and is made from yeast extract.  It is a spreadable brown paste that is most commonly eaten on toast.  Perhaps the most interesting thing about Marmite is that most people either love it or hate it.  There are very few reactions in between.

Jason and I decided to try it out on camera in order to give most accurately share our candid reactions. 



Despite his initial reaction, Jason eventually decided he would give it a 5 out of 10.  (It can be a bit shocking initially, but it grows on you . . . )

My reaction was so intense, it required the use of the British "quite":




We have decided to require each of our guests to record their own Marmite video which will then be posted to Milton's Manor.  Consider yourselves warned . . .
